TOMMY XMAS CARD (24 K)

A Christmas Card from Tommy ...

A British artilleryman of the Eighth Army signs an "Airgraph" Christmas card, using the breech of his field gun as a table. The Christmas cards were specially designed by two Tommies of the Eighth, and were issued for general use. The Brit is identified as Gunner Strange, of Gundulf Street, Lambeth, London, England. The location is unspecified. An Official British War Office photo dated January 22, 1945, the photo is from the Webmaster's collection.
